Body stripped for restoration work...Group B Nissan 240RS BS110

I am glad the car is under the care of my very capable and experienced body panel welder/restorer friend. He meticulously took all parts apart where necessary. Here in this part of the world, I reckon this would be about the best treatment I could give this car for the restoration work.

In Japan, battle wounds would have been left as is and car proudly displayed, as seen in the museums!

This 240RS body has been strengthened for rallying use with gussets and seam welding where necessary.

This car would have sustained all this damage and shoddily repaired body parts from its earlier competition life!

Works handbrake requires a complete overhaul.

Signs of flooding on the bellhousing.
